Institutional eFX and/or Precious Metals Sales London Office:

Edgewater Markets, an industry leader in Electronic FX liquidity & distribution to global institutional clients, seeks an Institutional Salesperson. The ideal candidate MUST have 5+ years’ experience in Institutional FX Sales, MUST have an existing book of institutional business & a successful track record of generating business in the FX space. Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time-management skills & an ability to work under pressure is required. The position would suit the person who can seamlessly integrate with an existing team & who can “hit the ground running”.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, open & manage new institutional accounts, to include Hedge Funds, CTA’s, banks & Asset Mgmt. companies
  • Utilize the Firm’s technology & competitive liquidity/pricing to increase production on the candidate’s existing account base as well as to consistently open new relationships
  • Create & execute a sales plan
  • Provide input into the day-to-day operations of the sales team & help implement reforms to the sales cycle & accompanying processes where warranted
  • Create customized solutions for client needs, both internally & externally, by utilizing the Firm’s technology/ platforms & core product suite
  • Deliver high priority client service, by maintaining a strong focus on customer needs, to meet client and internal expectations which directly effects the customers perception of Edgewater Markets

    Requirements, Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ proficiency in Institutional FX and a deep understanding of trading markets, FX trading products and their platforms – A MUST
  • Proven track record in a sales-driven environment – A MUST
  • Ability to acclimate quickly & become knowledgeable on the firm’s core product offering
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service
  • An active team player with strong interpersonal attributes
  • Apply independent judgment to act in the team’s and the organization’s best interest in all responsibilities and situations
  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree in financial or related field, or related experience
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
  • A working knowledge of the competitive landscape & key market participants
