Jose-Antonio Buenaño

Jose-Antonio Buenaño is the Head of Sales Americas.

Based out of Edgewater’s Santiago, Chile office, Jose-Antonio brings a wealth of experience in the capital markets spanning over 20 years of industry expertise working for corporate and investment banks.

Prior to joining Edgewater Markets, Jose-Antonio was Head of Financial Institutions Derivatives Origination for Latin American clients at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in New York City. In 2015, he was CEO at Tanner Corredores de Bolsa, a securities dealer firm in Chile, after holding management positions in New York City at Credit Agricole and the Royal Bank of Scotland as Head of LatAm Sales. Jose-Antonio began his career at ABN Amro as Head of Corporate Sales building the Fixed Income Sales business for Chile and Peru.

Jose-Antonio earned an MBA at Schulich School of Business, York University, as well as a BS in Industrial Engineering at Universidad de Chile. He is an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Catolica’s MBA program in Chile.
